MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini expects Robinho to leave the Premier League club before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

Mancini says he would be happy if Robinho remains at City but believes the Brazil forward, who was sent on loan to Santos last season, “wants to play in Italy or Spain.”

Mancini said Roque Santa Cruz could join Italian side Lazio, which is reportedly looking to sign the Paraguay striker.

Both players could struggle for first-team opportunities this season at City, which spent heavily in the transfer market. Robinho and Santa Cruz have until Tuesday to find new clubs before the transfer window closes.
