Extras are being sought for a new TV show pilot, filming Monday in Portland.

The TBS show, “Brain Trust,” starring DB Sweeney, is seeking athletic men and women to be extras.

Casting times will be Monday from noon to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 1635 N.W. 16th Ave., Ste. A; or apply online at www.extrasonly.com, project code: braintrust.

Unlike the TBS series “Leverage,” which is shot in Portland but takes place in Boston, the story of “Brain Trust” will actually take place in Portland.

Casting Director Danny Stoltz said his company is casting over 700 real people to be extras, but has needs to specifically cast 250 athletic types, ages 18 and up, who work out regularly and are comfortable on camera in workout attire.

Those cast as extras earn minimum wage, but are guaranteed at least eight hours of pay plus any overtime. Extras for these scenes will work one or two nights Dec. 10 and Dec. 11.
