HOQUIAM, Wash. (AP) — Wednesday’s attempt by a suspect to flee police in Hoquiam was at least the third time he’s led officers on a chase.

KXRO reports the 53-year-old man didn’t get far, as officers enforced arrest warrants.

Deputy Chief Jim Maloney says a Hoquiam patrol car pushed the fleeing vehicle into a spin with a PIT maneuver, and the man was taken into custody.

He’ll face charges that include felony eluding.
