A new “Pub in the Park” element has been added to Vancouver’s summer concert series that kicks off Thursday.

A fenced area with picnic tables, open grass and comfort facilities is open to people ages 21 and older from 5 to 9 p.m. each week.

Besides general wine and beer service, a VIP area is available to concertgoers who may purchase tables of 10, or reserved seating. VIP tickets are $25 each and include seating, an entree from the Gray’s at the Park restaurant and two beverages of choice.

Any person or business that purchases a table of 10 for each concert will receive a Sizzlin’ Summer discount of $500.

Proceeds from the pub and VIP sales go to the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation, which supports literacy programs and other library services across Southwest Washington.

To purchase seating and for information, contact the Foundation at 360-699-8846 or e-mail foundation@fvrl.org.

Sponsored by Riverview Community Bank, the Six to Sunset Concerts run 6 to 8 p.m. each Thursday:

• July 8: 5 Guys Named Moe.

• July 15: Patrick Lamb.

• July 22: The Antics.

• July 29: Quarterflash.

• Aug. 5: Zuzo Blue.

• Aug. 12: Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts.
