CASTLE DALE, Utah (AP) — The father of former BYU and NBA player Shawn Bradley has died after falling off his roof in central Utah.
The Emery County sheriff’s office says 61-year-old Reiner (RINE’-ehrr) Bradley fell about 15 feet while caulking a rain gutter Wednesday at his home north of Castle Dale.
Funeral arrangements were pending.
Shawn Bradley was a basketball star at BYU and the No. 2 overall pick in the 1993 NBA draft. He is currently a Republican candidate for the Utah House of Representatives.
