YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — One man was killed and four others wounded in four separate shootings that took place Saturday night or early Sunday in Yakima, Toppenish and Wapato.

Officials say 29-year-old James Kilby of Union Gap was shot to death Saturday night while sitting in his car in a Yakima parking lot. Kilby also had a Kitsap County address.

The sheriff’s office says a 28-year-old Wapato man, Manuel Angel Garcia, was inside a house when it was hit in a drive-by shooting. One bullet went through the building and hit him in the head, causing a critical injury.

A Toppenish man was wounded in another drive-by shooting.

And two girls, 15 and 18, were wounded in the legs by a shooting at a house in Yakima.
