KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — Hunter Pence had two doubles and three RBI, and Carlos Lee added two hits and two RBI as the Houston Astros hurt Alfredo Aceves chances of making New York’s rotation in an 8-6 victory over the Yankees on Saturday.

Brett Myers allowed four runs on eight hits and three walks in five innings, striking out six for the second straight start.

Alex Rodriguez had two hits and two RBI, Robinson Cano hit his first home run of the spring and Brett Gardner had two hits for the Yankees.

Aceves had his worst outing of the spring, allowing five runs on five hits in 4 1-3 innings. He had allowed just one run in 10 innings of work prior to Saturday. He’s vying for the Yankees’ No. 5 spot in the rotation.

Astros starting shortstop Tommy Manzella strained his right quadriceps and manager Brad Mills said he could miss up to a week.
