Nominations sought for Camas Days court

Nominations of active, involved senior citizens are being sought for the 2010 Camas Days Senior Royalty.

Nominees must be 55 years old or older, residents of Camas and Washougal (using school districts as boundaries), have a history of local volunteer service and still be active in the community. Individuals or couples can be nominated.

Nomination forms are available at the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce Office, 422 N.E. Fourth Ave.; Camas Community Center, 1718 S.E. Seventh Ave.; and Washougal Community Center, 1681 C St.

Forms need to be completed by May 28 and should be mailed to GFWC Camas-Washougal Women’s Club, Attn: Royal Court, P.O. Box 319, Washougal, WA 98671.

The 2010 Senior Royalty Coronation and dessert reception will take place at 7 p.m. July 14 at the Camas Police Department. Tickets can be purchased for $5 per person by calling Jeanette Jester at 360-834-2354.
