Mackenzie McWilliams of Hockinson captured her third consecutive Class 2A sub-district singles championship on Saturday.
McWilliams defeated Lauren Salberg of Mark Morris 6-3, 6-2 in the title match. McWilliams advanced to the final with consecutive 6-0, 6-1 victories over Clair Veysey Ridgefield and Meredith Kretzler of Mark Morris.
Tiara Atchley of Hockinson beat Cassidy Reid of Ridgefield 6-4, 6-2 to place third in the tournament and advance to next week’s district tournament at Mint Valley Racquet Club in Longview.
Washougal’s Shelby DeLong and Allie Reeves beat Hockinson’s Lisa Farrey and Bree Linton 6-3, 6-1, for third place in the doubles bracket and clinch a berth to the district tournament.
