The number of homes listed for sale in Clark County increased slightly to an 11.1-month supply in October, up from 10.4 months in September, according to RMLS, the Portland-based multiple listing service.

The figure means it would take 11.1 months to sell the estimated 3,549 houses for sale countywide if no new listings were added. It compares with a 6.4-month inventory of homes for sale in October 2009. The latest RMLS figures suggest that Clark County’s housing market continued to slide in October.

For the month, RMLS reported 320 homes sold, down 10.9 percent from the 359 homes sold in September and down 40.2 percent from the 576 houses sold in October 2009.
