South Dakota State tops SW Minnesota State 94-80

BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) — Nate Wolters scored 18 points to lift South Dakota State to a 94-80 win over Southwest Minnesota State on Thursday night.

Wolters led five players in double digits for the Jackrabbits (3-0). Clint Sargent helped out with 15 points while Tony Fiegen had 14, Griffan Callahan 12 and Dale Moss 11.

The Jackrabbits shot 48 percent from the field and nearly as well from behind the arc, making 47 percent.

Scott Roehl led the game in scoring and rebounding with a double-double for the Division II Mustangs (1-1). He chalked up 23 points and grabbed 10 from the boards.

The Mustangs’ Jordan Miller added 19 points while Trent Carlson had 12.
