EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Police say the man who was shot and killed during a coffee shop robbery Wednesday in Eugene had a criminal record.
The Register-Guard reports 27-year-old Sirus Elisha Combs of Eugene had been convicted of drunken driving, unlawful possession of a weapon and attempting to elude police.
Combs was killed in a struggle with an employee of a Dutch Bros. coffee drive-through.
Police are looking for a second robbery suspect who fled after the shooting.
