A driver who possibly suffered a seizure Sunday crossed all the lanes of Interstate 205, from the shoulder of the northbound roadway to the embankment of the southbound road, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Two vehicles were damaged and one person was hospitalized.

According to the WSP report, Lukas Fanagyon, 29, of Portland, was driving northbound on I-205 at about noon when he lost control of his 1993 Chevrolet van.

His vehicle veered to the right, off the roadway, and then re-entered traffic. That’s when his van struck a 1998 Toyota Camry driven by a 30-year-old Vancouver woman, Zhanna Musiyevich.

Fanagyon’s van continued to veer to the left, across the freeway median. He crossed all three southbound lanes of I-205 and went up the embankment, and the van rolled onto its side.

Fanagyon was taken to Southwest Washington Medical Center with what was described as lower back pain. He was cited for second-degree negligent driving and for driving with a suspended license.

Musiyevich was not injured, according to the WSP, and was able to drive her car from the accident scene. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
