Running outside on sweeps and a bend-but-don’t-break defense helped the Wildcats shut out Rochester on the road.
La Center rushed for 384 yards of which just 40 of that was between the tackles. Seth Baxter led the rushing attack with 150 yards on 16 carries.
The Wildcats defense had several stops on fourth down and forced three fumbles in the second half.
Nick Deotsch threw two touchdown passes and rushed for a third.
