Construction continues Tuesday on the new park-and-ride lot at the new Salmon Creek interchange project. Clark County is building the lot on the northwest corner of Northeast 139th Street and 10th Avenue. The current park-and-ride lot, off of 134th Street, will be turned into a wetland mitigation site as part of the $133 million project to reconfigure the complicated confluence of Interstate 5, I-205 and 134th Street. The linchpin of the project, which is expected to be completed in 2014, is an overpass connecting 139th Street across I-5 and I-205.
