Letter: Put bridge, light rail to a vote

The Columbian
Published: April 30, 2011, 12:00am

I am tired of The Columbian pushing leftist/democratic policies and then telling us that either “it’s what the people of Clark County want” or “it’s good for Clark County.” Specifically, I am talking about the Interstate 5 replacement bridge and the inclusion of light rail. Voted down in the past, the politicians, along with Columbian support, are now trying to force it down our throats. How about asking us first? That means a vote of the people, not a decree from the Democrat politicians.
