Siena pulls away to beat Florida Atlantic 67-60

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — OD Anosike had 17 points and 13 rebounds, and Siena defeated Florida Atlantic 67-60 on Wednesday night.

There were five ties and 10 lead changes before Siena took the lead for good, 53-52, on a jumper by Kyle Downey with 10:01 remaining. Florida Atlantic led 39-36 at halftime but was held to 21 points in the second half.

Evan Hymes and Downey each added 14 points, and Rob Poole had 11 for the Saints (5-7), who won their second straight game.

Siena outrebounded the Owls 43-31 and outscored them in the paint 34-24.

The Owls made only 8 of 27 shots in the second half and shot 34.8 percent (23 of 66) for the game.

Greg Gantt scored 16 points, Omari Grier added 15 and Raymond Taylor had 13 for the Owls (4-9), who have lost four games in a row by a total of 25 points.
