The Educational Service District 112 board will hold a special midday meeting Tuesday in Vancouver.
On the agenda: Screening of applications for the open Position 4 board vacancy, and discussion of Senate Bill 5639 — Gov. Chris Gregoire’s proposal to lump all Washington education divisions into one Department of Education, with a cabinet-level director not elected by the public.
The board meets at 12 p.m. in the superintendent’s office at ESD 112 headquarters, 2500 N.E. 65th Ave.
