EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A reporter for The Daily Herald of Everett has written about Colton Harris-Moore, the Camano Island 19-year-old known as the Barefoot Bandit.

Reporter Jackson Holtz has covered Harris-Moore from his days when he was accused of being a nuisance burglar, through a crime spree that crossed several states and ended with his arrest last July in the Bahamas where he allegedly crash landed a stolen plane.

The book, “Fly, Colton, Fly: The True Story of the Barefoot Bandit” goes on sale in April.

Harris-Moore is scheduled for trial in federal court in July.
