Letter: Service is failing its riders

I would like to comment on the C-Tran fare increases and reduction in the service to the public.

The bus service on weekends is really bad. The only two routes that I find run consistently are the No. 4 Fourth Plain and the No. 37 Mill Plain. If you are going anywhere else, good luck. Many other routes run anywhere from 45 minutes to one hour between arrivals, so if you miss your connection you are sitting for that amount of time.

Since C-Tran is raising fares in September, why don’t they try to run weekend buses a little longer and more frequently to serve the public better? Also train C-Tran’s customer service people better on how to give out service over the phone.
