Columbia Way — Nearly 200 people attended the Parks Foundation Annual Luncheon on June 14 to celebrate the presentation of the Florence B. Wager Awards and distribution of the 2011 Community Grant Awards.
More than $8,000 was raised in donations and pledges, and Waste Connections matched that amount for a total of more than $16,000.
All funds will benefit Clark County parks, trails and recreation programs.
