Man beaten to death in Skagit County

MOUNT VERNON, Wash. (AP) -- The Skagit County sheriff's office says it has no suspect in the fatal beating of a man from Concrete.
But, investigators believe the beating of 54-year-old Kenneth Wayne Stewart was not random.
He was taken to a hospital in Sedro-Woolley early Sunday and transferred to a hospital in Bellingham where he died.
The Washington State Patrol is helping with the investigation.
