MOLALLA, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police are looking for a driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run crash west of Molalla that left a 67-year-old bicyclist seriously hurt.

Lt. Gregg Hastings says Thomas Mossman of Molalla was riding a bike Tuesday afternoon on Highway 211 when he was hit, possibly by an SUV. The vehicle continued westbound without stopping.

Hastings says the vehicle likely has right front headlight area damage and is missing the passenger side mirror. The door side molding at the scene was silver or gray.

Mossman was flown to Oregon Health Sciences University, where he was reported to be in intensive care. Police say he was wearing a helmet and had been headed to a friend’s house about 50 yards from the crash scene.
