2 crashes in Snohomish County police chase

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) -- A police chase that started in Lake Stevens Monday morning ended in a crash in Everett with the arrest of two people.
KIRO-TV reports the driver took off when an officer suspected a drug deal. The chase went through the Everett Community College campus before an officer stopped the fleeing car with a PIT maneuver, and a man and woman were arrested.
Meanwhile, a sheriff's patrol car that was apparently involved in the chase collided with another car at an Everett intersection.
No one was seriously hurt.
