SEATTLE (AP) — The U.S. Transportation Security Administration says officers have found a loaded handgun at security checkpoint at Seattle-Tacoma International for the second time in a week.
Spokeswoman Lorie Dankers says the first handgun was found Saturday during routine carry-on baggage screening. Officers found another loaded handgun in a carry-on bag last Wednesday. Both passengers were arrested.
Passengers are prohibited from carrying firearms or ammunition in carry-on baggage.
