Vancouver man electrocuted in industrial accident

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — Clark County Sheriff’s Deputies say a 42-year-old Vancouver man has died in an industrial accident.

The man was electrocuted Monday afternoon, while power washing a silo from a high lift machine in Woodland, Wash.. Authorities believe the man or some object touched a nearby power line and the man was electrocuted.

Nobody witnessed the accident. The man was found collapsed in the high lift and the owner of the construction company administered CPR until rescue units arrived.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time pending notification of family members.
