Trey Klug has received the Core Value Award from Ridgefield-based Corwin Beverage Co. The award honors employees who demonstrate the firm’s values. Klug, who has worked at Corwin for 12 years, is a driver supervisor.

Kristi Koebke Williams has been appointed director of creative services at AHA!, a Vancouver marketing and strategic communications firm. She has been with AHA! since 2000 and has served as a writer, editor, account manager and, most recently, senior creative director. Her new job is the company’s top creative position.

Dr. Kelly Smith recently received a three-year appointment as cancer liaison physician for the cancer program at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. Smith is among more than 1,500 volunteer physicians nationwide who are leaders in their facilities’ cancer programs.

Other business news

• America’s Tire opened its second Vancouver store at 900 S.E. 192nd Ave. Rex Harper, who has been with the company for six years, is the store manager. America’s Tire operates 31 stores in Washington. A grand opening event will continue Monday. Customers at this store only will receive $100 off the purchase of any set of four tires or wheels installed Monday.
