Letter: Badgering voters won’t get votes

Some of the best reasons to pull all monies out of elections:

  1. Will stop repeated polling of candidates for the sole purpose of getting people to donate money.

  2. Will stop phone calls for money by different political organizations.

  3. Will shorten the amount of radio political commercials.

  4. Will shorten the amount of television commercials.

  5. Politicians will have to actually accomplish something while in Congress to get re-elected.

P.S. To all political parties: I know whom I am voting for and what policies that I support. No amount of emailing results of polls with notes of “please contribute” is going to get one dollar from me.

I refuse to be fear-mongered. Please get a hint: The money that you are begging for is one of the main reasons that the U.S.A. is in a decline and no longer as great as it once was.

This should be considered an open letter to all politicians in the U.S.A. from the average voter.
