PHILADELPHIA (AP) — LeSean McCoy won’t be taking verbal shots at one of the New York Giants.
McCoy, the Philadelphia Eagles’ All-Pro running back, and Jason Pierre-Paul, the Giants’ All-Pro defensive end, have joined together as partners and investors in a sports beverage company, The Associated Press has learned.
BODYARMOR SuperDrink will announce the partnership on Tuesday.
McCoy and Pierre-Paul’s teammate, Osi Umenyiora, engaged in a war of words last year. McCoy called Umenyiora “overrated” and “soft.” Umenyiora replied by saying McCoy is a “girl.”
Clearly, there is no animosity between McCoy and Pierre-Paul.
