Online voting is now open to determine the top finishers in the Southwest Washington’s Got Talent contest produced by the Rotary Club of Vancouver Sunrise.
Voting online costs $1 per vote at http://www.southwestwashingtonsgottalent.com/vote.htm and ends Sept. 5.
The 10 performers with the most votes will be invited to perform at the finals at 6 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Vancouver Sausage Festival, St. Joseph’s School, 6500 Highland Drive.
The top three finishers will be determined by a combination of online voting, judges and the live audience. First prize is $1,200, second prize is $800 and third prize is $400.
The Rotary is also offering sponsorship opportunities to support the final performances and to benefit children’s programs. Net proceeds will support the club’s contribution to community projects, including student scholarships and the Santa’s Posse holiday food and gift drive.
