Appeal of Burton Park Apartments project denied

Ogden — The neighborhood association’s appeal of the Burton Park Apartments project has been denied. Burton Park is proposed as a 112-unit apartment complex in 11 buildings on the former Portland Christian School at 7915 Burton Road. Dozens of neighbors wrote letters opposing the city’s approval of the project, and several turned out for an October hearing; but hearings examiner Sharon Rice found that none of their assertions regarding parking, setbacks, building size or other matters amounted to hard evidence that the city’s approval process was flawed.
