Hockinson’s Nathan Gunderson made two free throws that helped second the game into overtime, and Taylor Ellensohn made a 3-pointer in OT to put the Hawks ahead for good.
Alan Haagen had 17 points and Gunderson 11 for the Hawks in the game played at the Yakima SunDome.
Hockinson (5-6) faces Bellevue Christian at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
