Boys basketball: Mark Morris 60, Washougal 54

The league champion Monarchs held off the host Panthers by outscoring Washougal 21-12 from the foul line.

Washougal was within two late in the game, but Mark Morris made its foul shots while the Panthers had a turnover and a couple of missed shots.

Isaac Bishoff and Aaron Diester each scored 11 points to pace a balanced Panthers’ offense.

Mark Morris had three players score in double figures and was 21 for 30 from the foul line. Washougal was 12 for 19 from the foul line.
