MACON, Ga. (AP) — Justin Cecil scored 16 points, Langston Hall added 15 and Mercer shot 63.9 percent from the field Monday night in a 75-65 win over Jacksonville, gjving the Bears their fourth straight victory.

Mercer (15-7, 7-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) led by 10 early and shot 70 percent (14 of 20) to lead 41-34 at halftime.

The Dolphins (4-16, 2-7), who came in having won two straight after a 13-game skid, tied it at 47 with 11:27 remaining on a Shamile Jeffers dunk, then pulled ahead on Glenn Powell’s layup.

Travis Smith’s 3-pointer sparked a 14-2 Mercer spurt, capped by Hall’s jump shot with 5:48 left, and Jacksonville could get no closer than eight from there.

Jakob Gollon added 13 points for the Bears, who made 23 of 36 field goals overall and 24 of 34 free throws.

Aloys Cabell and Powell scored 14 apiece to lead the Dolphins.
