The visiting Spudders followed a tough third quarter with some fourth-quarter toughness to earn a come-from-behind win.

After getting outscored 16-3 during the third quarter to fall behind by eight points, Ridgefield (8-9, 6-5) revved up it’s full court defense to get back into the game.

Jessica Schaffer converted a go-ahead three-point play with less than two minutes to go, and the Spudders made free throws from there to hang on for the win.

Shaffer scored seven of her 10 points in the fourth quarter, when Ridgefield outscored Kalama 18-5. Shannon Boyle scored six of her team-high 11 points in the final quarter including hitting four foul shots down the stretch.
