Letter: Good work on connecting jobs

I would like to express my appreciation to Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, for hosting a second job fair for the unemployed residents of Clark County. I want to thank her for actively connecting job seekers and employers and for her practical and reasoned support of private-sector job growth policies.

Unfortunately, we see many politicians make irresponsible economic policies in a disconnected Washington, D.C., which do nothing to help families and individuals who are truly hurting outside the D.C. Beltway. It is refreshing to be represented by someone like Herrera Beutler who focuses her energy on helping struggling families in need of work. It would be nice if more politicians put their words into actions like our congresswoman does. Keep up the good work.
