Clark County’s inventory of homes listed for sale declined to a 7.7-month supply in February, down from 8.8 months in January, according to Portland-based RMLS.

The number means it would take 7.7 months to sell the 2,532 houses listed for sale countywide if no new inventory was added. Year-over-year, February listings were down 36 percent from a 12.1-month supply of houses for sale in February 2011.

The RMLS reported 328 sales closed in February, up from 274 closed sales the same month last year. According to the RMLS, the median sales price — half sold for more, half for less — was $165,000 for houses sold in Clark County in February, down 13.2 percent from $190,000 the same month last year.
