Drag racing car crashes in Yakima

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Police say a car was drag racing with another car in Yakima when it went out of control and crashed into a tree, critically injuring two men.

KIMA reports (http://is.gd/qlvP1l ) the 17-year-old driver and a 33-year-old passenger were airlifted to a Seattle hospital with life threatening injuries.

Their car hit a fence, power pole and parked vehicle early Sunday before wrapping itself around a tree in a neighbor’s yard.
