Letter: Justice moves full circle

The Columbian

Who says there isn’t a God?

I also ran afoul of Clark County Superior Court Judge Edwin Poyfair’s questionable judicial conduct in a parental custody case and believe his recent censure and premature retirement was long overdue. A May 5 Columbian story reported “Retired judge’s court demeanor censured; Poyfair says he left to avoid board’s discipline.”

I also recall empathizing with (but not condoning) another one of Poyfair’s victims several years ago who suggested what should be done with Poyfair and he was charged with threatening a judge.

The wheels of justice move slowly but they do move. Well done to the Washington Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Excellent jeer in the May 12 Columbian editorial “Cheers & Jeers: judge’s conduct ends a long career.”
