VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Scott Dickens broke his own meet record in the 100-meter breaststroke Friday night in the Mel Zajac Jr. International Canada Cup.

American Barry Murphy was second in 1:01.81.

Three-time Olympic champion Leisel Jones, one of 10 Australian Olympians in the meet, won the women’s 100 breaststroke in 1:07.84.
