The Vancouver Police Department will honor fallen Clark County K-9 members 3 p.m. Wednesday at Vancouver’s East Precinct, 529 S.E. 155th Ave.
The department will present a stone and bronze plaque that will be permanently placed at the precinct with the K-9 Dakota sculpture inside the lobby. Members of the K-9 unit will be present.
Jean Morris of iQ Credit Union led the fundraising effort to purchase the plaque, which was made by Vancouver Granite.
