Letter: GOP job performance is a disgrace

The Columbian
Published: September 10, 2012, 5:00pm

When President Obama was first elected, Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., publicly stated that the top priority of the Republican Party was to make Obama a one-term president.

Since then, the Republican Party has continually voted to deny legislation that would help our country get back on its feet.

The Republican political game, in the midst of crisis, was just to block bills once President Obama entered office. The Republicans legislative record is shameful. They put their agenda ahead of the good of the country. This November, do not reward them for such disgraceful behavior.
