Fishers Creek — Shannon Young has been chosen as the 2013 mother of the year for the Columbia Mothers of Twins Club. She has been a member of the club for four years and is co-chairwoman of special activities and auctions. Shannon and her husband Jon are the parents of 4-year-old fraternal twin boys, Connor and Garret. She is an educator in the Evergreen School District.
