SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — New York pro Jim Bianchi won the Bassmaster Northern Open on Saturday on Oneida Lake, edging Tracy Adams in only his second Open entry.
Bianchi, from Rush, N.Y., had a catch of 17 pounds, 7 ounces for a three-day total of 52-7.
“This never gets old,” Bianchi said. “After practice, I knew I had the potential to do it.”
Adams is from Wilkesboro, N.C. Jacob Powroznik of Prince Grove, Va., was third.
