Washougal wins 2A sub-regional wrestling

Washougal had four individual champions and five runners-up as the Panthers won the meet with 305.5 points.

The top two wrestlers advance to the regional on Saturday in Bremerton where the top four advance to state.

Jesse Reagan (120), Garrett Dewey (132), Tanner Baldwin (145) and Stephen Camden (160) won their weight divisions for Washougal.

Ridgefield, which was second in the team race with 238.5 points, had two champions. Grant Gaspar won at 106 and John White won at 195.

Hockinson wrestlers took the top weights as Walker Gillispie (220) and Noah Schultz-Rathbun (285) were champions.
