Oral Roberts steamrolls Central Arkansas 94-65

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Damen Bell-Holter scored 17 points, and Oral Roberts rolled to a 94-65 victory over Central Arkansas on Tuesday night in the teams’ first meeting as Southland Conference opponents.

Bell-Holter added 10 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (17-10, 12-3), who also got 16 points from Warren Niles, 14 from Shawn Glover, and 13 points and 13 rebounds from Steven Roundtree. Oral Roberts outrebounded Central Arkansas 56-38 and held a 54-34 advantage on points in the paint.

LaQuentin Miles had 14 points for the Bears (9-16, 4-11), who shot just 34 percent from the floor and committed 18 turnovers.

The Bears scored the first basket of the game, but that was the only lead Central Arkansas would see all night. Oral Roberts led 50-27 at halftime and by as many as 33 in the second half.

Oral Roberts remained in third place in the conference, behind Northwestern State and Stephen F. Austin.
