HOQUIAM — A Hoquiam store clerk grabbed a shoplifter trying to run away, but she bit his hand to get away.
Police said the clerk ran after the shoplifter Tuesday after she ran out of the store with four beers. He caught up with her a short distance from the store but let go after his hand was bitten.
Police tracked a suspect through a yard and arrested an 18-year-old Aberdeen woman for investigation of robbery.
