Robert Franks scored 15 points, Jalen Ballard added 10, and the Plainsmen got defensive to beat the Tigers.
Evergreen held Battle Ground to six points in the second quarter to take a one-point lead at the half.
Then trailing going into the fourth, Evergreen held the Tigers to 10 points in the final eight minutes.
Kevin Haynes led Battle Ground with 13 points.
