Vancouver police seek debit card theft suspect

Vancouver police are asking for help in identifying a suspect who stole a wallet from the Firstenburg Community Center and made fraudulent charges.
On Jan. 7 police were dispatched to Firstenburg at 700 N.E. 136th Ave., where the victim said his wallet was stolen from his gym bag while he briefly left it unattended in the locker room, according to a news release from the Vancouver Police Department.
Fraudulent charges totalling more than $900 were made on his credit card at two local retailers, the news release said.
Surveillance video from one of the stores shows the individual who made the fraudulent charges.
Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department at 360-487-7355 and reference case No. V13-373.
