INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Chief Havoc led all the way in winning the $147,000 Swaps Stakes by 2 12 lengths on Thursday at Betfair Hollywood Park.

Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Chief Havoc ran 1 1/8 miles on Cushion Track in 1:50.17 and paid $2.80 and $2.10 as the 2-5 favorite.

Tiz a Minister returned $3.20, while Dice Flavor was another 1 12 lengths back in third. There was no show wagering because of the four-horse field in the Grade 2 race.

The victory, worth $90,000, increased Chief Havoc’s career earnings to $180,117, with three wins in eight starts. It was just his second start in a graded stakes race.

Java’s War finished last in his first start since he was 13th in the Kentucky Derby.
